Our Craftsmanship
There is a reason vintage hand-hammered cymbals are so revered. The artisans creating these one-of-a-kind products were just that. Artisans, rather than a huge factory production line.
7th Hill Cymbals utilize all of today’s modern manufacturing knowledge and expertise. Our deep roots in traditional cymbal-making methods create each cymbal as a work of art. Our pride in cymbal-making provides you with a product that is tuned to perfection and balance by true pioneers of the craft, at an affordable price.
When was 7thHill founded?
In the spring of 2018, Nusret Ӧzevin founded 7th Hill Cymbals. Ӧzevin was closely associated with Istanbul Cymbals from their inception in 1984, and has been involved with nearly 40 years of cymbal innovation.
What does the name 7thHill mean?
The name 7th Hill is a humble tribute to the Istanbul quarter that housed the world’s most famous cymbal factory for many years: Samatya, the Seventh Hill.
